Centre for European Studies Activity Report 2009
 |
In 2009, the Centre for European Studies, working closely with its member organisations, played again a significant role in reaching out to the people of Europe, enabling them to better understand the concept and processes of politics at European level and the significance of Europe in their everyday lives.
Through its research and policy papers, the Centre for European Studies addressed crucial European and global political issues from the point of view of the core values of the European People’s Party family and European centre-right. In this way, the Centre exerts a significant impact on the European political scene and serves as a generator of fresh ideas and a leader in our areas of commitment.
With an innovative approach and more than 60 events organised across the continent, the Centre for European Studies engaged citizens and political actors in serious debates on the key challenges and issues of today’s Europe, raising awareness of the mutual responsibility for the future of Europe.
CES ACTIVITY REPORT 2009 features all the events organised, publications published this year, as well as the research plan of the Centre.
